Smith

Dr. Stephen Smith

Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from La. College in 1972 and returned to undergraduate school at LSU-Shreveport before attending medical school at LSUMC in Shreveport. Dr. Smith completed his Family Practice residency in 1986 and worked as a family physician for 10 years. He is board certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Smith has worked in the urgent care setting for 15 years and has been with Quick Care since it opened in April, 2000.

Thorat

Dr. Savita Thorat

Dr. Thorat earned her medical degree in India and then was accepted for a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 2012. She is board certified by the American board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Integrated and Holistic Medicine. She joined the Quick Care team in 2014 when she and her husband moved to Shreveport/Bossier. When she isn’t working, Dr. Thorat enjoys yoga, cooking and spending time with her family.

Chandler

Dr. West Chandler

Dr. Chandler is a native of north Louisiana, growing up in the small town of Dodson. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and completed medical school and residency at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He joined the Quick Care team in 2014 after practicing family medicine in Marshall, Texas. He enjoys the fast pace and helping patients with the wide variety of illnesses that present in the urgent care setting. In his free time, Dr. Chandler enjoys traveling with his wife, hunting, and fishing.

Goddard

Dr. John Goddard

Dr. John Goddard, a native of Virginia, graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the Medical College of Virginia Family Medicine - Riverside Hospital Residency Program. After completing his active duty commitment at Barksdale AFB with the Family Medicine and Flight Medicine clinics, he practiced occupational medicine with Willis-Knighton Work Kare for fourteen years. Dr. Goddard worked as a civilian physician contractor at the Barksdale AFB Family Health clinic before joining the WK Quick Care team in October 2018. His interests include participation in local community performing arts groups such as the Shreveport Opera as well as reading/researching the history of Virginia and the wider world.

Brice

 Jamiee Brice

Jamiee graduated from Kennesaw State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation she practiced for five years in the pediatric intensive care unit and the pediatric emergency department. During that time she became a certified critical care nurse in pediatrics as well as an instructor in pediatric advanced life support. She then spent a year commuting to Dallas, TX to work in a Level 1 Neuro/Trauma Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She has also spent a year working at a local pediatric orthopedic center. Pediatrics has always been Jamiee’s passion so in 2013 she enrolled at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing. Jamiee is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as crafting and traveling.

Rivers

 Holly Rivers

Holly graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University. She knew after working in the NICU, newborn nursery and being a neonatal transport nurse, working with children was her passion. She returned back to Northwestern State University and received her Master of Science in Nursing. Holly is a board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, cooking and traveling.

Pavlick

Dr. Adrian Pavlick

Dr. Pavlick grew up in Kansas where he completed his undergraduate degree at Wichita State University. He received his medical degree from International American University College of Medicine. After completing a Family Medicine residency at LSU Shreveport, Dr. Pavlick and his family decided to remain in the Bossier Shreveport metro. He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Pavlick enjoys the wide scope of practice that Urgent Care allows. He finds it rewarding to see patients experience improved health so that they may enjoy their lives to the fullest.

Moyer

 Angela Moyer

Angela began her career as a registered nurse after graduating from Northwestern State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Angela spent the first 5 years working in the NICU at Sutton Children’s hospital and then two years on a pediatric/medial surgical floor at Willis-Knighton Pierremont. Her Master of Science in Nursing degree was obtained at the University of South Alabama and she is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Angela’s career desire is to provide safe and effective health care to our community’s growing pediatric population. When she is not working, Angela loves spending time with her family, gardening, reading and cooking.

Speights

Dr. Catherine Speights

Dr. Speights is the Medical Director of the Quick Care clinics. She completed her undergraduate work at Louisiana Tech and graduated from LSU Medical Center in 1998. She completed her residency at Baton Rouge General in 2001. Dr. Speights is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board Family Medicine. She has extensive experience in emergency and urgent care medicine. Prior to coming to Shreveport, Dr. Speights worked at an urgent care center in Baton Rouge. She joined Quick Care in April, 2010.

Ranz

Dr. Jennifer Ranz

Dr. Ranz was born and raised in north Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana College and completed medical school at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. She is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Ranz joined the Quick Care team in 2018 after practicing family medicine in Springhill. When Dr. Ranz isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, volunteering at church, classic movies and singing.
